Ritalin is a very dangerous drug that can be very unforgiving to a young persons body.

As a child I can thank Ritalin for helping me understand and do well in school.

Pat,
How old are you?
Did you read the last sentence of the article? Do you mentally think that because you were clinically diagnosed and legally prescribed Ritalin by a qualified medical doctor that you are physically exempt from the "very dangerous drug" called Ritalin?
False compassion is prevalent in the mental health community so be careful.

Lots of medications can be dangerous if used improperly. When sold on the street, ritalin, and other stims, can be dangerous because they are either taken in large quantities, or because they are crushed and snorted, which delivers a lot more drug--a dangerous amount-- to the brain than when you take it orally.
Taken as prescribed, with monitoring, ritalin has been used safely for a long time.
