"WHICH country is probably not on israel"s favourite list as yet?"as well as "why sell Israel nuclear capable weapons?.. the profit motive only with no foresight or hindsight????" .. was it worth it?
(OK, so they already have lots ..BUT..)and Why should Germany partly pay for it..is Germany still paying off for losing WWII??
"Israel, operating on a policy of nuclear ambiguity, has never confirmed or denied whether it has nuclear weapons. It is believed, however, to have the world's sixth-largest stockpile of atomic arms, including hundreds of warheads"
"The new submarines, built at a cost of $1.3 billion with Germany footing one-third of the bill, have diesel-electric propulsion systems that allow them to remain submerged for longer periods of time than the three nuclear arms-capable submarines already in Israel's fleet,"

Regarding Germany and WW2-While I decline to enter any direct discussion about Israel, do consider that many lives are still haunted by the after effects and post traumatic stress of WW2- case study: my family, big time. Dad's lifelong grief of witnessing unspeakable horrors and getting manipulated and threatened with his life, as well as the lives of family and neighbors, to spy for Nazis (on Russian movements) while just 5, 6 years old translated into rough times for me as a kid, for example. The Baltics and other East Block countries are still barely getting over and recovering from what happened to them 50, 60 years ago. It still hasn't been yet, Ok, war's done, everything's fine now.
