Oh, tmp, I know you've had a hard time with it. But I guess I would have to say that it *can be* worth it. I wish I knew how to guarantee a good therapy experience. I think when it is bad, it can be *really* bad. But I would hope that if you could find a T that you really like, who is good, then you could have a really positive experience. I wish that for you.

I think Pegasus said it all. It seems that the things that have the most potential for good also have the most potential for pain. I think my therapy experience has been positive. The stuff I'm going through with my family right now would have had me a nervous wreck before therapy. But now, I'm taking it all pretty much in stride. I'm taking on a reasonable amount of responsibility without being sucked into the family drama. I give my therapy total credit for that.

Now, I might melt down when it's all over. But the meltdown will probably be brief, though painful.

But my therapist thinks I may have been better off if I had never started therapy. Go figure. I'll have to ask him if he still thinks that. It was a while ago that he said that.
