Just spending days

Posted by terrics on April 24, 2005, at 18:18:49

Been spending days and weeks in the hospital. I was forced to resign my job. There was a return to work note in my folder with a well known psych. hospital heading. I think that is the reason they were harrassing me,though not sure. It has been hard holding myself together butI am trying. Don't know how any of you are doing as I have not been following anything. Hope you are all well. terrics

I'm sorry things aren't going well for you, Terrics. I know it's hard, but keep trying.

Did you find the hospitalization helpful for you? Many people seem to.

Hi Terrics,

I'm sorry to hear about you being forced to resign your job. Employers just don't get that mental illness should be treated the same as physical illness.

Keep trying to hold yourself together.

Wow, sounds like you have been dealing with some yucky stuff. I'm so sorry about your job. That's just so not fair. Perhaps it means that something better will come along?

It's good to see you here.

Sorry you've had such a bad time of it, Terrics. I'm struggling with work at the moment, partly because I know I'm being scrutinized for signs of another breakdown. I'm thinking of running away before I'm told to leave.

Are you feeling better?

Hi, I would ordinarily tell you to hang in. However if you feel you are being pushed to the point of another breakdown maybe you could take a short leave of absence. I was spending so much time in the hosp. because of their harrassment I resigned which might seem extreme but I feel better since I did. Now my only big problem is finding another job. You come first and that is not just a saying. terrics

Hey Terrics.
your feeling of relief is good. you did the right thing. things are going better for me at work right now but i can understand how you must have been feeling and it causes so much stress and hardship.
and you are a talented person you will have no problem finding another (better) job. be sure to take a few days to relax before you start your next job (if you can).
i'm glad to hear you are taking care of yourself.
take care (((((terrics))))))
