just wanted to warn some of you out there. there is a movie on lifetime called 'Human Trafficking'. it premiered last night and is a two part series, the second half will be on tonight.
-at the beginning of the movie it even says it has really intense scenes. well, they're NOT KIDDING. there are numerous counts of suicide, simulated rapes and female degredation, using both women and young girls. Very harsh. it also talkes about SA as a child by an uncle.
please keep all this in mind if/when you watch this lifetime movie.
it was quite triggering for me.
anyway, use caution.b2c.

And besides all that it just wasn't a good movie. It's sad because the subject needs to be publicized. But man, that was some terrible writing and acting. Yuck!
You know what else is pretty triggering and awful is the movie North Country. It's all about over-the-top workplace sexual harassment, with a little side-story involving even more SA. It was just unpleasant and a very long movie. Charlize will probably get another award for the performance, but I was kind of sorry I saw it.
This is the end of the thread.
