What are the suicide statistics for those Dx with bipolar disorder?
The numbers are out there. Does anyone actually know them? (roughly)
How many attempt?
How many actually survive?

Dory that sounds about right I got approximately 10-15% of people with a bipolar diagnosis complete suicide. And obviously many more attempt suicide unsuccessfully.
I remember reading that in studies from the 1940's suicide rates of 30% and even 60% were reported in groups of bipolar patients. That's it I just wanted to know the current percentage of completed suicides.
