Anyone every do age regression therapy?

I know my T did this a lot before EMDR, and sometimes he uses it now. He thought about doing it with me if EMDR doesn't work. But when I looked it up on the internet it kinda freaked me out. I didn't know it was hypnosis. I don't know if i like not being in control of myself. That is scarey.
