Well, the thing I feared the most has happened ... abandoned by psych. I don't want to try again because no doubt the same thing will happen.
I feel suicidal.

You don't need him. If he gave up on you it's most definitely because of his shortcomings.
Don't follow his example. Whenever you feel bad, come here, say so. Then look at all the people that respond to you, with kind words and wishes that you feel better. You are definitely worth all these things and more, you deserve to live in a caring world with everybody here.
Please don't stop your search for someone to help, leave no possibility unexplored. Don't fear other's failures, they do not belong to you.
