Zazenducke, I fight depression with denial and it seems to be working, I have stayed off any meds for it. I say try it and see how it works. I had one therapist the old one I dumped for my new one, say you have been depressed all your life and she advocated for meds. This one has not. I told him I was dumping my lexapro as I felt I was not getting enough bang for my bucks. I wanted that high everyone talked about they got from SSRI's and other AD's I felt ripped off, I always felt flat or asleep. So I dumped it. I did after I had tapered off it took one to see what would happen. And I got the high. So I know what it felt like and I knew I was getting ripped off. I also know if I continued I would not continue to feel so I took no more. So where am i going with this dribble. Heck if I know. Only do what the heck you feel like doing and see if it works I say.

If it doesn't regroup and recharge and keep moving forward....
Even small tiny of the tiniest steps are moving forward, think of an ant. He does get somewhere eventually...

rsk

ps. pardon me if am way off base. I appear to be in a strange mood today, no telling what therapy will be like today....
