Sorry guys, this is totally a newbie question.
I've been seeing the word trigger used in some subject lines and I'm not sure what it entails.
I want to make sure I keep in line with the methods here, so can someone please explain when and why I would need to use the trigger alert?
Thanks so much! I'm still getting used to it.

There are probably people who can answer this better, but in general we try to use trigger with anything that might trigger a big reaction in someone else -- like posts about suicide, self-injury, etc. I've been trying to remember to use it when talking about my T leaving because I know that is upsetting for some people.
This is the end of the thread.
