and she asked if I was willing to work on calming her (it?) down. She believes I've gone as far with talk therapy as I can and I think she's right. I'm not sure I'm up for all this energy work and EMDR, but I'm trying to get on board.
But why couldn't they name it something besides Triple Warmer?????
Have any of you done energy work? How did it go?

I just had my first session doing Lomi mind/body/energy work. It was very powerful and I tend to be a huge skeptic. I really liked the breathing/visualization piece - I felt so much calmer. He (Yup, I'm working with a man) only touched me on my shoulder and held my foot. I'm working on touch aversion as well as anxiety.
I'll be interested to hear how it goes if you choose to try it.

I haven't done that type of work, but when I saw your post I wondered if it was some type of sweater. :-)

Thanks, Daisy. I'll keep you posted and will be very interested to hear how it goes for you as well. We're starting with some very mild breathing/self-touch/self-talk exercises. I think she knows we'll have to move slowly.
