Hello all. I will write more later but wanted to give an update re: my hubby's and my counseling session with a priest this morning. It was wonderful. He was kind of a mix of "old and new" - quite open, kind, but firm. Spoke of marriage being a symbol of God's love, etc. I enjoyed it b/c I felt like "God" could symbolize whatever you'd like - he certainly didn't try to "convert" me or such.
It's opening up my spiritual options again, too, which is good for me. That part of my life has been very, very lacking.
And just having a third party - he would ask my hubby a question, then me the same one - was really helpful. We found out that we do know a lot of what's going wrong - it's just been difficult to fix it.
Thank you for all of your help!!
- K.
P.S. I found myself Really wishing we could all meet as a group someday. That idea is frightening, I know, but at the same time it would be so interesting and nice. And weird. ;)

Kat
That is such wonderful news! And in no way do I want to rain on your day, but marriage is such work at times makes us wee ones wonder if it is worth it? Watch the new release with Roberts and Pitt, "The Mexican," together with hubby. It has the answer to our question.

You know my opinion on this matter. I'm sure there would be a few tears.

Kat, I'm certainly no expert on spritual matters, and I spent many years walking hand-in- hand with the devil. However, I was able to change my way of life through religion. I would be more than happy to share with you, if you would like, but I don't think this is the proper forum. I can honestly say, however, if not for a faith in God, I would be divorced, a drunk or probably even dead by now! Anyway, I'm very happy to hear of your initial success! THAT first step was the hardest! Way to go Kat!!!!

We saw The Mexican a little while ago - I think it's one of my favorite movies now.
Thanks, Willow.
