I have to go to the DMV because I had a seizure only because I was hypoglycemic (try 40u on a glucose test) and then I had to fill out all these forms and my internist too and they still want to see me ONLY because I put down mood and panic disorders under psych conditions because I didn't want my doc to lie. So what ?? I have to be normal??? or have my license revoked???? Majorly pissed, Judy

Judy, my ex- developed diabetes & really didn't even try to control it. All the MV branch here did was to tell him he couldn't have anything more than a class 5 license - a normal driver's license, even though he had to go & fill out forms, etc. Nothing big, like rigs or buses. But then, this is Canada & I don't know the US laws.

Thanks for the info, I live in California and I'm sure all the states are different but I got worked up because it's just so discriminatory. I had a normal EEG and Glucose Tolerance Test so that's why I know it's about the psych conditions AND I have to talk to someone whom I'm sure has zero qualifications. I read somewhere that this pilot went to a shrink because he was having some anxiety problems and told his superiors and they grounded him for 7 months which just reinforces a. lying or b. not getting help in fear of losing your job. Oh well, just blowing off steam, I can do normal- I've done it for a judge who ruled on shock therapy and shrinks to get out of psych wards. Pretty sad that I still have to 'perform' just because I told the truth on a form. Take care, Judy

Ah, Judy - I so know what you mean. It's what I refer to as manipulating people only when seriously needed. I wish there was an open, honest world where one could say the trith & no one else would ever, ever read more into it than there is. I miss lots of what's said, because I don't try to find the hidden meaning behind what's said, because mine never has a hidden meaning - I say what I mean, but know all to well that few do so.
Good luck on telling the 'truth' they want to hear. Take care, dear Judy & of little Gabrielle too. (What's she doing now? And how old - 3 months?)

Hi Judy,
Thanks for the understanding and I really like how you phrased the manipulation when seriously needed. Yes, Gabrielle will be 3 months on Wednesday, thank you for asking- she's doing great. Take care, Judy
