Can't you call your last pdoc, tell him where you are and what's happened, and ask for a script to last the end of the month? Or can't you go home a little early? Or can't you find a pdoc where you are, or a crisis intervention line that can recommend one? Or can't you go to the emergency room and explain your situation?
Or do you lack money/and or insurance?
Lots of help is available.

I agreee with beardedlady. I moved about 10 years ago, and had to leave my Pdoc. I had some panic issues come up. He gave me another script to hold me over.
Now the bad news. As I have recently found, it can take 4 months to get an initial appointment as a new patient with Pdoc. Now THAT'S CRAZY!!!!
Now for the OK news. Most GPs can at least help you out with meds until you can see a Pdoc. Some are better at counseling than others, but perhaps they can refer you to a non-MD counselor until you CAN see a Pdoc.
Good luck, and hang in there. If you REALLY feel "off", you can go to the ER, although I know that is NOT the best of options. However, if you are *desperate* that may be your only choice.

I know how you feel - I ran out of celexa and by day 10 I was crying about everything. I don't know where you are, but here in NYC there are "walk-in" doctors - usually called something like "immediate care" - where you can just show up and be seen. They're not pdocs but they can probably give you a stop-gap prescription and/or get you a quick pdoc appt (docs are more likely to jam an extra person into their appt schedule if another dr. asks them to)
This is the end of the thread.
