I'm sorry. I've REALLY tried hard to ignore Mr. L.P. However, even if it gets me the Dr.Bob ban, I've got to say that even free speech w/o discretion and empathy, is as dangerous as shooting guns into the streets. I have been here for awhile, and except perhaps for a certain Sal, no one particular person has been as destructive to these boards as Mr. L.P. Maybe the kind Dr. B can create a separate board for the nice teacher to spew out his thoughts (or does he REALLY think about what he posts?). Sorry Katt, sorry Mouse, sorry Willow and the others who have been "regulars" but this must stop before the anarchy turns into nihilism.

I don't think you've said anything worth a pbc response, but I'm hardly the arbiter. Mr. L P has been blocked for a month and Dr. Bob has set up another Board for faith issues: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faith/ At least that gives him somewhere to redirect posts that are so agenda oriented.
I agree that Lou has been extremely disruptive. While I synpathize with those who felt he was unfairly attacked, I sort of reached the conclusion that his posts had very little to do with true communication and everything to do with a desire to disrupt. just MO
Anyway maybe things will calm down for awhile.

Strange to read both posts above. I was just thinking quietly to myself that now he's blocked for a month, maybe things will calm down again. And then I read your similar views. (grab hankerchief, wiping forehead & say "whew - peace at last?")

I missed all the action again. I still wrote about it (the 7 Gates) in my "Ode to side effects" below though - before I read this thread too. I never actually read an entire message about the 7 Gates, as I was completely turned off by both the topic and the tone. So with time I just started skipping messages that had a "suspicious" title.
I keep missing all the fights; I guess I'm lucky that way. I was too entangled in my sexual abuse crap (pardon my French - please don't tell me it's racist, my mother tongue is French) and in my tooth pulling (literally) appointments to read much lately.
In any case, if the board is more peaceful, I'm glad. Peacefulness is important.

did you know some birds use spiderwebs in building their nests?
random thought there
lets see, I have been busy moving things around, literally, trying to find a balance in my life, as i am an empty nester. and ended up with two computers. I keep going back and forth between them, which means i need to reset them up and i generally get confused, discovering somethings are on the other machine when I want them on this machine and vice versa. I sent my illness to Tahiti, but it was returned, forwarding address unknown. I have started walking with a group of old ladies. It is about my speed. The woods are beautiful, quiet, dark and deep. I have been continuing to check in here and at chat in the evening. I have not been following l..p..
Some things I can not follow, some things I do and can. I let the muse guide me in my responses. Thank you for your attentions. I count you as friends.
So many it is hard to count.

Sorry, but I've already asked you to be careful about what you post, so I am in fact going to block you now.
