1. I had clean clothes to wear today and didn't have to go madly searching for matching socks!
2. The weather was gorgeous today
3. I got out of work early enough to actually experience the beautiful weather. I sat outside and read and just enjoyed the scenery at the end of the day.
4. My deposited check cleared, so I am no longer bouncing checks this week.
5. While I was out there in the yard, I saw robins and cardinals poking around on the lawn and in the flower beds.
6. I saw something I hadn't seen before--a robin chasing a squirrel (!) with amazing flight maneuvers.
7. I love where I live, it is so pretty. I feel so lucky to have been able to get this place.
8. My mom is doing better.
9. I went on a library binge last night and have lots of books to read.
10. Babble.

1. I cancelled my pap smear today and put it off until Friday.
2. I rearranged all the "supplies" in one of the bathroom cabinets.
3. My husband is out of town (NOT a good thing), BUT, I slept on top of the comforter with my fuzzy blanket - so I didn't have to make the bed in the typical manner.
4. I had a junky breakfast and weighed later and hadn't gained weight.
5. Despite the fact that I'm on Lexapro, I WENT TO THE BATHROOM TODAY!
6. There's still time to get the dog to the vet for the Wednesday afternoon cheapo vaccine clinic.
7. I only have one load of laundry left to fold.
8. I made a work-related phone call today, something I've become quite phobic about.
9. I have cut my "to do" list down considerably in the last week or so.
10. My husband is coming home tomorrow.

Hey, Lee!
Great list.
#5 really reminds us that when you get right down to it, the little things really do matter a LOT!!
BTW, I was raised to recite a blessing after every trip to the bathroom (once you exit the bathroom, of course, since you can't say the blessing IN the bathroom). It thanks God for the basics--roughly translated: the valves and the holes, and the fact that they are still working right, cuz you cannot take anything for granted.
I used to have it memorized, but now can only recall a few of the words (the valves and holes part clearly stands out).

An excursion! Into the wild! Cool! Really cool that you are getting out of the house, out of the ordinary routine, with your family.
Have a good, safe time.

Have fun in the woods Shannon. Just roll around in marshmallow if you intend on falling in the fire :-)
I'm off for the weekend too. Off to grandma's house I go. I need a good hug from my sweet grandma. She always makes me feel like there's something left in the world that is good.love ya
