gigantic spiders in the tub

Posted by slinky on August 1, 2003, at 21:03:28

Too Big to swill down the plug hole.
Electric sub station and stifling pollution feeds the freaky bugs they'll take over and insecticide us.
Step on the cracks and appriciate the beauty of weeds.
Going against fate.
Am I really falling in love...SAVE ME
Mango time.

yesterday a giant furry spider was creeping creeping along the place where the ceiling meets the wall.. then it turned and headed down the wall, toward me... then it SPED UP its crawl. Yikes.

They eat the nasty bugs.

(Except for the biting kind which may be squashed without compunction. But which are the biting kind?????)

They fascinate me, I have a bug preoccupation.
Although once I had a HUGE one in my sink, I think I could hear it walking. And it scared me so much. I knew it was silly though, it was just big for a spider, it was smaller than my cat,
and less harmful, (no claws) So I refused to let myself kill it, just because it had the misfortune of being bigger than other spiders which I pick up and put outside. I thought I smoke cigarrettes sometimes which are dangerous, but I'm not freaked about them! What is it about humans and spiders?

I even tried to talk to it, you know to bond with it, (I'm lonely) but I was shaking finally I threw a tupperware bowl over it, and slid a piece of cardboard under still shaking, and then threw it over the balcony.
I'm not kidding I was jumpy for the rest of the day. I rescued the tupperware the next day very gingerly
I am really curious about why spiders incite that primitive fear in so many of us when they are almost alway harmless. Butterfly's are bigger.

I think whats really cute about spiders, is that
I've noticed the newly hatched ones are not very good at spinning webs, and they get better with practice.

Got fleas now - from frisky pussy...purrrrrrrrrrrr
Been decorating..clinical white.
Supermarket fruit is so bland and no' ripe.
The spider had babies...i aint scared of the creepers , don't want to pick em up . don't want them surfing round my orifices in the tub.

I've recently discovered being sad-a new feeling-not depressed also able to hide feelings-another new xperience so i guess i'm better-ish.
No laughter~some tears...highly sex'd-up:-)

Sounds not-bad, Slinky. Except the spiders. As much as I like them, I must admit a nest of babies would be more than I would care for (especially near tubs). And the fleas. Haven't had those for years, knock wood. But I remember how miserable it was before they invented those doggy pills.

Glad you're feeling better-ish. And good to hear from you, stranger. :)

Oh I'm so jealous. It's back to sex-sans-partner for me. :-(. Well I guess I shouldn't complain.. at least my libido isn't destroyed by side effects these days. Or would that be a blessing?

Not that you asked but I'm finding the lack of libido mighty convenient. Now if only my medication could decrease my desire for money
and a nicer apartment..
