Hello to all

Posted by Emme on September 11, 2003, at 8:35:14

Hi. It's me. I've been on a sabbatical. I haven't had it in me to keep up and post much, except for the occasional couple of sentences over on P-B.

But I poke my head in from time to time. I just wanted to say that I continue to wish you all well. I'm sorry about your pet, Dinah. I know that is very hard. Hang in there to all who are having a tough time. On the lighter side, good luck with snails and opossums. Both gross me out. I keep taking trips down the rabbit hole/abyss. Trying hard, getting tired, and focusing my energies inward.

Hi Emme!

I'm a lurker on this forum (sort of new here) but hope you are happy to hear from somebody, even if it's somebody new.

Take care,

Hi!

I read your post, too. I guess I thought from the tone of it you were saying hi to mostly veterans of these boards, so I didn't respond. But after reading it again today, I didn't get the same feeling. So who knows what's up in my head these days?

Anyway, hello! I hope things are going well with you, or at least well enough. I guess by its very definition of these boards, people aren't exactly feeling perfect when they post. :-)

Well, I must go now. I think this board is becoming addictive for me and I need to focus on doing some real work...

Ciao,

Susan

Nah, it was a hi to everyone. I'm feeling pathetic, but didn't have the energy to post all about it. Nor the energy to put in my support to all the different threads even though I'd like to, so it was meant to be closer to, "Hi, hope you all will be okay."

> So who knows what's up in my head these days?

At least *something's* up in there. :) Mine seems to be suspiciously empty....

>I guess by its very definition of these boards, people aren't exactly feeling perfect when they post. :-)

Yeah, I guess we're all here to see each other through ,as the saying goes. Have an acceptable day, and hopefully a pretty decent one.

Hi Emme. I haven't been keeping up with posts lately. :( I've been zoning out in Harry Potter land. grin. My son got me hooked.

It sounds like you aren't feeling too well. I'm sorry to hear that. I always hope that when we don't hear from someone it's because they're doing too well to have time to post.

Good to see you again.

Hi Dinah,

> Hi Emme. I haven't been keeping up with posts lately. :( I've been zoning out in Harry Potter land. grin. My son got me hooked.

I've kept up in the most superficial way, including a bit of your pet difficulties. Harry Potter land is the perfect place to spend some time. Those books kept me distracted in a good way during hard times. I totally love them.

> It sounds like you aren't feeling too well. I'm sorry to hear that.

It's up and down. A combo of lack of time and lack of energy. My doctor is feeling a bit helpless I think. Which is saying a lot. She's brought up the issue of hospital again. I've gotten helpful feedback on this before from people here. I'm still hoping to stay out, but I've done some homework on checking out potential places as well as my insurance coverage. Info I hope not to need. But planning for contingencies is not a bad idea.

> I always hope that when we don't hear from someone it's because they're doing too well to have time to post.

Maybe I'll get there.

> Good to see you again.

Thanks. :)
