My daughter is 15 and going to the homecoming dance on Saturday. It is a "Disco" dance. She will be wearing a dress my sister made in the early 70s (that's as close to Disco as we can get). For the life of me I can't remember what kind of shoes we wore with dresses. The dress is a mini, with a halter-looking top. The print is deep yellows and browns with thick black lines in a Laugh-in kind of design.
Advice will be much appreciated.

My first instinct would be NO SHOES...you know- that whole free lovin' running barefoot through the woods-ish look.
hmmm. Now plats...they'd be perfect.
But if she'd never worn them before and she wouldn't wear them again, I say go for some cheap flipflops and some toes painted yellow and green with flowers and peace signs on them!Ah youth...
Good luck!
