HI Kara Lynne

Hi Kara Lynne,
I just read your message. How are you doing? How are things on the homefront? Is there as much smoke? Things are going to get better.
See your ex's party is over, what did you wind up doing that evening?
Things here are okay - just tired and struggling with back and forth anxiety and depression but it's not too bad. I was on 300mg effexor for 7 years and came off and am now on 50mg zoloft, fish oil, magnesium and folic acid, klonopin once in awhile it knocks me out though but the depression is creeeeeeeping back. The rainy day doesn't help either, I am thinking of upping the zoloft. I went and got my hair cut yesterday that always gives me a lift :O).
Talk to you soon!
Mary

Yippee! I'm so glad to hear from you. I was at the pdoc yesterday discussing the possiblity of trying Effexor and guess what I came out with instead--Zoloft. What happened for you with Effexor--and did you have a hard time with 'discontinuation syndrome' as my doctor so euphimistically put it yesterday? I think you're doing well if you're getting by with those few meds/supplements. And how are you liking the Zoloft?

I'm on my way to work-- I just wanted to get this posted, but I'll fill you in on all the gory details later if you can stand them.

Thanks for writing, it was great to hear from you.

K.L.

Hi Kara,
Fill me in on the details when you have time. I actually switched from the effexor because it was blurring my vision too much.
Zoloft is good, I need a larger dose though - I am only on 50mg my pdoc wants me to go to 100 or 150 how bout you?

I haven't started it yet. I took it years ago and had too many GI problems with it, but I'm taking something for that now so it might not be so much of a problem. We ended up with Zoloft because I'd like something mildly energizing. I can't decide whether to take it day or evening; last time I tried it at night I had strange dreams, but I'd rather have strange dreams than a strange day. On the other hand I don't want it to keep me up...
