I did my best to interpose myself between the beloved members of my clan, and the stalking leopard of passive-aggressive intellectual and philosophic mediocrity known as "Dr. Bob". But in the end, my efforts are doomed to fail. Hopefully, his victory shall be pyrrhic, and mine own shall be of the far more lasting and important moral variety.

Well, Tabitha, I could teach you lots of words. USEFUL words; and believe me, I'd make learning FUN. But there's a certain "Doctor Pencil-Neck" around this stretch o' the woods that doesn't APPROVE of fun.

Oh, geez.
OK, this place isn't for everyone, and I respect your decision.....but....the decision isn't either/or. You would need only a light compromise of your "morality" (I don't remember what word you used....I'm so absent-minded), and that would be that.
