KK my sweet, it is wonderful to "see" you back on the board and on my "friend" list! I am glad you had good times and sorry you had a rude awakening but that does happen to friendships....at some point it may heal. (see you shoulda taken my number LOL) Mama
I,once again, need to ask for all of the positive energy and prayers I can get. I can't believe the things happening to my friends and family. I will list the things happening:
1. My mom had surgery (rotator cuff) on 3/8. She got "staff" and had to go back to hospital on 3/9 to have the surgical site reopened and cleaned. Has been there since. Because the infection is in her blood it is causing her to be nonsensical and confused. She was getting "better" and on Saturday the shoulder swelled again. She is under the knife for the 3rd time in 2 weeks and she is 77. I have to fly back to MD to help my sisters so I may or may not be "in touch".My dad Has something called Wegener's Granulomatosis which affects the kidneys/lungs. Thought we were going to lose him in late Feb. He started meds and was gettting "better" but now it appears he can't take the meds that he needs in order to keep this at bay....I just don't know wht's going to happen with him....he's in Florida and I don't know if I can get to see him...
My girlfriend who was in the accident and lost her leg is doing incredibly considering but she still has a rough road ahead.
My (soon to be ex) husband's father has cancer of the back and hips and is not doing well. His brother died 2/7 from complications of alcoholism.
My ex bosses wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer and has had to have one breast removed. It is in her lymph nodes as well.
One of my best friend's father died 2/28 and she is having a rough time as they were really close. He had cancer and so this was somewhat of a blessing as he had fought it for 5 years but still...He hired me where I have worked for 25 years and we shared the same birthday.
In among all of this sadness I have been given the gift of love from an incredible man. He lost his wife to emphysema which ultimately became cancer...he's been a friend for a long time and our relationship took on a whole new meaning at a time when we both needed love and support and hope. Lala said to me "it is bittersweet but focus on the sweet and not the bitter" I'm trying Lala!
So my wonderful Babblers I have much going on and need your love and comfort....

How could you ever think that I would become upset with you? I would openly encourage everyone to hug or fondle kid. And besides that, is my fondness for him that apparent? Sheesh. I guess I never was good at keeping secrets.
(((Momma))) You are in my thoughts always, and even moreso right now. You're a strong lady and I know your strength will shine through during your tough times. I'm thinking about you. Take care of yourself and try very hard not to let the stress of things bring you down too much right now. Just put your faith in the thought that everything will be ok. I love you momma. kk

Hi, Toots. I’m so sorry to hear about everything that’s going on. It’s too much to handle, so I hope you’re taking care of yourself. If you need to talk, just let me know. I’ll be thinking of you.

Take care,
