Work's been crazy these days. Needless to say I've been more absentminded than usual. Well, I keep forgetting to take my freaking meds to work with me, and if I miss a day or so, I feel really bad. So I missed them yesterday, and daggit if I didn't forget to bring them today. So I'm sitting here at work and looked under my desk...and whaddaya know? There's a Wellbutrin pill laying down there. Yup, I picked it up, dusted it off, and took it.
Just felt like sharing.

I once ate a chicken mcnugget I found in the stairwell of my apartment building. I can't imagine what possessed me to do that. And you know, M&Ms have a protective candy shell so they're always OK to eat off the floor.
I keep meaning to get a cute little container and carry a spare med dose in my purse with me everywhere. They actually make special keychains to hold emergency nitrogycerine pills. They're like a little silver canister. That would work, but maybe a little too obvious.

I'm known for picking pills up off the ground and eating them. I'm just always disappointed when I eat a tic tac thinking it's a nerve pill instead.
And tabitha, please don't share that chicken mcnugget story with any potential friends. You don't know where that chicken's been before they cook it, let alone after you find it in the stair case. Girl, we should talk..

Hmm...I've been known to do the same thing a time when I found a pain pill laying on the kitchen floor. It was dirty, but I cleaned it off and swallowed it. Can't let them go to waste you know! :)

I keep meaning to put a day's worth of morning meds in my pocketbook so I'll have them if I forget to take them. I'm going to do it now. You have inspired me. Hold on - here I go to do it. There! I'm so proud of me. I kept some little sample bottles from a pain reliever that I take, so it fits in my pocketbook. I even put a tissue in so they wouldn't get all banged up and make noise all the time (and after therapy, I'll have a tissue if I need one!!!).
Thank you, Susan. I've been meaning to do that for a long time. Now the challenge will be to remember if I've taken them. I put them in the little boxes so I know if I've taken them already. The other day I was sure I had forgotten - stopped back at home around 2PM to take them, and found that I took them that morning. Not being able to remember anything is really inconvenient most of the time.
I certainly would have eaten the pill off the floor.
Now you have to put a stash of meds in your pocketbook!

My husband actually drove the 12 miles to where I (supposedly) work to bring me my meds. And he does not understand what is wrong with me.
Am I blessed or what....
