i'm going on a kind of road trip today from Nebraska -> Indiana, to visit a friend I haven't seen in a year. it'll be nice to see him again, and meet his wife and kids. (We've known each other online for nearly 9 years!) I thought I deserved a mini trip after the hospital experience, and surviving one horrible year of grad school.
when i return, i'll be back for a day and a half or so and then i'll be off to orlando with my family from New Hampshire (my dad's answer to my problems is always "family time"). It'll be nice to go to Florida, though!
when i return from *there*, i'll be back for a day and then I'll be off to a job interview in Michigan (cross your fingers! i want this job!) for a few days (I planned it so I could go back to Indiana for the last leg of that trip since the interview is only one day).
at some point after that, i'll also be going on a job interview in Oregon (going for the hell of it, i'm not sure i want to move there, i'll check it out first), but that trip hasn't been planned yet.
so I have a busy few weeks ahead, i just wanted to let you know my net.access would probably be sporatic at best, but i will be thinking of you and checking the boards when i can. i've been here a short time, and i've gotten so attached to all of you and this place!
see you soon,
ghost

Have a great trip! I just drove through Indiana on Monday on my way home... Good luck in the interview! I hope you get the job. Oh, and if you are staying in hotels, Drury Inns have free internet access :)

I lived in Oregon for 8 years and loved my life there. What part of Oregon is your job interview?
I have visited Orlando, Fl. as well and was a very rewarded by that trip.
I am orginally from Wisconsin.
I now live in Vermont.
We from the midwest are a friendly lot.
I hope you can rest on your trip.
Your future sounds exciting with so many possiblities.
This is the end of the thread.
