I am sober or dry lol in AA for 6 years! I would love to talk to you more here , especially about recovery and the steps and meing on meds in AA. I know that this is really between me and God and that "we are not Doctors" but it's still good to chat.

Owen, I look forward to it! Do you have a sponsor? I live in CA. where are you? (if you aren't uncomfortable with saying) I am on Zoloft right now and have been since January. Many life changes sent me into a tailspin. I have been so grateful for having the program to tap into as well as believing in a higher power since I would have surely screwed things up if I were in charge.

I am in NYC as far away as possible without hitting the ocean! I had a step sponsor and it was great but I stopped making amends and went to hell in a handbasket. I am defintely in charge . It's just like I REFUSE to make amends and turn it over every morning. I'll get there though. I am on lexapro and klonopin. I know that may seem bad but it isn't making me want to drink so. Nice to meet you:) What do you do and how old are you?
