i could smell a present when he walked in. he wanted to change (alone) and i refused. i finally let him change then came in and asked 'where's my present?' he tried to refuse, but i finally talked him into it. know what i got????
a gift certificate for underpants! i still can't decide if that's sweet or funny, but i can't stop laughing. he was offended that i laughed and had to tell me about all the women staring at him in the shop like he was a pervert. he said next time, he's going to get me a gift certificate from walmart. (as funny as this is to tell, and what a story it is!, i still like kid's present better)
oh, and i got a lighter from marlboro! that made me very happy :)
and i'm going out for dinner, if i can get the paint scraped off my hair. can you use turpentine on your face? what about your hair?
oh, and another thing. i was laying in the bath tub last night and fell asleep. luckily he walked in (after i kept inhaling water) adn told me to wake up. he told me to take a bath today and i asked 'what if i drown?' he said 'i'm here, i'll call the funeral home to pick you up if you do.' isn't he a riot? (ok, it made me laugh too)...

Isn't it funny how humor can fix anything? (The pun wasn't originally intended, but I guess that leaving it in sort of makes it intentional)

I have to share the latest gift thing...
My hubby bought be a gold watch for our 21-anniversary. (remember the post - I was sad and alone, he was crabby...) He bought it a week late but was so proud of having picked it out and it is very, very pretty.
Anyway, this weekend we went to my best friend's 5 year wedding anniversary party. Her hubby gave her a 2004 Corvette, T-top...red. My hubby just looked at it, picked up my arm, looked at the watch and said, "sh**! I gave up." It was cute!

Happy Birthday! Honestly, I wish I got a gift certificate for underpants. All of mine are about 5 years old!
