I got invited to help out at a museum during a kids activity. It was something like, go there and help kids draw what they think life would be like on another planet. I thought it was so sweet that the coordinator thought of me. But I had to say no because of the bad memories it brought up for me. I was disappointed about saying no at first because it sounded cool. But I realized I wouldn't have any fun there. So I guess it all works out for the best.

Sometimes doing what's best for us can be bittersweet, can't it? It's lovely you were invited, and sad that you couldn't take her up on it.
Take care,

Thanks partlycloudy. Last summer when I worked at the museum is when all my problems started and I can't even think about the museum without even thinking about my pain.
