I bought a CD and I want to save or download some songs on my computer hard drive [C]. Is that possible? Need help. Computer novice here. If this is possible, I need step by step instructions.;)

Hey Shadows,I don't know how to specifically download songs from the cd-rom on your PC...but I can tell you this....go to your 'START' (usually on bottom left hand corner of your screen) single left click on it and the menu will come up and give you options of -help support- or search option then ...pref. the help search choice, click on that and it will open a window for you to search for practically anything to do with your PC. ie: type in something like -saving or recording music from cd-rom to hard drive- or try some of those words in variations You are likely to figure it out! I wish I could be of more help but my depression jacks up my cognition and learning and memory/retention abilities so bad that I feel like a mental invalid! Hope this helps a little. Hope you are doing better than the last several days and enjoy your new CD!BTW just curious but what CD did you buy?

Windows media player should do it..
I think it says..Copy to device or cd on one of the menus.
It should save it as a media file.

Me again..you can use real player..if you ain't got windows media.
Both programs allow you to drag and drop the file/song from your cd to a folder you have designated for your music.
Drag it from the list of tracks in the window

Hi Everyone,
I will give it a go with the instructions. Oh, the CD Genesis "Turn it on Again" - The Hits. I really like the songs - Mama, Abacab, Land of Confusion, I can't dance, No Son of Mine, Tonight Tonight-Tonight-Tonight & Misunderstanding. My favorite of all of them is Mama. It has a powerful haunting beat to it.
