Our dear gabster has suffered the untimely death of her computer. I tried to help her, over the phone, but it just kept getting worse. I think her machine is toast.
Unfortunately, her financial resources are limited, so she may be away for a while. Anybody who sent her an email over the last couple of days should rest assured that she could not answer. She can access hotmail, if she gets out to the library, so any communication will have to be via that email account. When she can answer is another story.

I just hope this doesn't get a redirect to the grief board. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

dear god, save me. tell her (if you can) while she is away to watch 'harold and maude' i watched it for a film class and think she will love it. i don't know what i'll do without my famous and fabulous miss 'g'... attend the funeral perhaps? don't count that out. i'm up for adoption mr l. and miss 'g' offered. i can bring a laptop with me. something tells me if i were there though, we'd have little use for a computer, with all the schemes we'd cook up.
couple crap. i'd say i prayer, if i were the praying type. instead, i'll swear very loud! shi*!

I think since insurance companies cover medication for mental health, they should cover computers for mental health too.
They ARE lifelines and help keep us balanced. Maybe I'll write my congresswoman...

Send her my sincerest condolences for her untimely loss. :(
I know I've gotten so used to this lifeline to the outside world that I'm frantic without it.
It's like a member of the family.

All of the above posts are so funny!
I will miss knowing that she's reading my jokes.
Why she can't get on Babble at the library? If she can get on hotmail there, she ought to be able to log on here as well, non? She'd just need to remember her logon on and password...

A little here and a little there might just help one of our illustrious compatriots to regain her lifeline to the world. Like it would paypal very easily. Our princessdirt might get some hotmail.

This stinks. I'm sorry, Gab. I mourn for you and your 'puter. And I second KK's recommemdation of Harold and Maude. Excellent flick!
Take care, save those pennies, and stake out a space at the library.
Miss you,
gg
