...sometimes means telling people to leave you alone. This is an important lesson, and I thank Babble every week for teaching it to me.

I love that you learn lessons from the hard elements that can happen here on PB....
I am so sorry that anything hard came down on you at all.
Did you see AuntieMel went up to bat for you on Admin?
You are loved here.

Every time I hear there is some brew-ha-ha going on in Admin, I'm always clueless to it. So I go over there and read it and I'm still clueless. I can never figure out what everyone is arguing about.
I've always got your back though PC! Try not to let faceless posters you'll probably never meet get to you. Who knows what kind of nut you may be dealing with! (I hope that isn't uncivil).

That's what bugs me - folks get all het up and you can't even figure out what the fuss is about, they just get meaner and meaner. So my defense is to request some people not address me at all.
I say - we're here on Dr. Bob's site, we play by his rules. You don't like the rules, there are many other places to play on the web. Democracy in cyberspace is an illusion - and online votes are only about cookies.

Yeah, I find it kind of humorous when people demand that he change the rules of 'his' website. And I see no problem with you requesting that certain people not address you at all. Some people just like to argue, and no amount of reasoning will make any difference to them. Best just to stay away from those folks.
