Now that's someone who could sing about it.
Why is this becoming an obsession with me?
I made it this whole morning without listening to anything. This afternoon, I had to, just had to listen to this new CD I got of hers because it has some songs I didn't have before. As I listen to it, I realize some of the songs sound different than I had heard before. AND as I listen to them, really listen to them, many oh so many are about Heartache.
I used to want to be Patsy Cline when I grew up.
That or Aretha Franklin, is that a conflic there?
It would have made my Mother so proud too. Now I just think of her and others that have passed thru my life as I listen to this CD by Patsy.
I think I was born in the wrong era. I should have grown up in the 40's & 50's, that is the time I idolize most. The movies about the era, the music, my Mother. Always my Mother.
I love you Mom. Now smile down on me and give me the strenght to go home and face the music there.

Loved Crazy by Patsy. Watched a movie about her. I think it was Jessica Lange that played her.
