I'm part of a Statistics Workforce labour Survey .. just finished talking to them, they're going to call next week again... now I'm really feeling bad about my life and I just realized that my endless dotting punctuation is driving me nuts, I hate it I'm not going to do it anymore.
I phoned my therapist a long time ago and I remember I left this message, I said, "I feel like I'm waking up for the first time in my life and tasting food. I don't *have* to buy cauliflower because I HATE cauliflower but my mum always cooked it and we had ot eat it so I thought that's what I was always supposed to do, but now I'm buying whatever I like to eat, and it's the same with men, and friends. I get to CHOOSE, omigod!" Click.

Sounded fine to me, the part about what you said to your therapissed.
The dotting isn't all that bad... I do it too. It does serve a purpose.And hey, you get to be an important statistic!!!

I know, I feel important 'cause it's only about 53,000 households in teh entire country, ahem, and I was somehow the occupant of one of 'em. Lucky lucky me. Don't worry, I don't have to stay depressed, jpj.

the dotting to me means that I could go on beating that particular dead horse for hours, but I realize I need to move on- and hopefully succeed in keeping my audience awake... (!)
