i can't be the only person that is happy and relieved to see her houseguests go!
i live in a one bedroom apartment. my friend arrived last wednesday. she left this morning. that's six days. by sunday i was kinda tired of looking at her.
i think she's great and i was really looking forward to her visit. but i'm guiltily relieved to have her gone.

I live in a biggish house, guests have a room and a bath to themselves, and I am always relieved to see them go no matter how much I love them.
I feel guilty about it too, but when I think about the person I live with, my husband, and how long it took us to work out living together, well... it sure makes sense.

A friend used to have a sofa pillow that said, "It's Sunday. Isn't it time for you to go?"
