We're gathered around the tree watching the latest Bionicles movie. I'm trying to teach the dogs how to get treats from the rolly ball Santa left for them. I hadn't noticed before how not very brilliant they are. :) Ok, I noticed it about some of them. Or maybe they really are brilliant and are just getting a kick out of seeing Mom on the floor rolling a ball around with her nose, while they get to eat the treats.
Soon I need to start cooking the roast beast and yorkshire pudding. My mother and brother and maybe his girlfriend will be over later to sit down for the Christmas feast.(I hope we can find enough chairs to actually sit.)

Santa was a big hit over here, now the hard part sets in ... putting together these contraptions, cleaning up the mess, and worse of all ... going to my family's for dinner. The kids are so happy.
My son (age 6) was happiest with the simpliest of items (a book and light saber/Star Wars).
