Go get em AK! But I mean really how seriously can you take jibes from people in a country that has a "World Series" where they only play with themselves - I mean where no-one else gets to play - oh you know what I mean (and aren't offended I hope), and where the average sports fan has the attention span of a butterfly. Seriously a 90 min game of football that takes 4 hours to play and where only a half dozen players ever touch the ball - Gimme a break =0)

Depends...
You can have a one day game
A three day game
Or a five day game. But the point is it is a day off work...
One can get verrrrrrrry pissed watching a game of cricket.I admit I'm not much of a fan
5 days and it is a draw is just tooooooo much for me.Now if you want to start a fight ask an Aussie about the infamous UNDERARM BOWL.
(I am a stirrer, aren't I)

Youch!!!!!!!
Cruel but fair. Okay on behalf of the Prime Minister and entire sporting population of the country I apologise unreservedly to the nation of New Zealand for that moment of unsporting insanity which should have been punished by repeated public beatings.
Will that do?

I was just teasing, Damos. American baseball can be a real yawner, as well.

Hey Kiddo,
My PC at home had a brain haemorrage so I've been in the cyber wilderness for a couple of days.
The article in Friday's paper just rehashed the ususal and covered McGraths reenactment.
I enjoy watching pretty much all sports but find it hard to take any of them seriously. =0)

Tease away, I'm big enough and ugly enough - well ugly enough anyway to handle it. I can't afford to be too precious seeing as [we] gave the world "The Crocodile Hunter"!!!!!!

LOL You also gave us Fosters which I am fond of not just because the can is so damn big but because it tastes pretty good. I hear that it is not as popular down under as Americans are led to believe. It may be just another foreign beer scam in which silly Americans are duped into thinking they are drinking exotic beers that are actually brewed here. God, I'm paranoid.

Why is a leading brand of Aussie beer called XXXX? Because it is too hard for Aussies to spell BEER.
He he.
Thats an old NZ joke...

Oh great!!!! Steve Irwin and Fosters, excuse me while I go and stick by head in the oven..=0) Well I have been told that US beer is pretty sad compared to ours, but not being a beer drinker (or much of a drinker of any sort - and not for lack of enthusiasm) can't really judge.

Because it's a Queensland beer, and they're pretty backward up there. Don't even have daylight saving, cause it fades the curtains!

Oh, ok. :-)

PS>excuse me while I go and stick by head in the oven.
You might want to be a bit careful incase that is interpreted as 'joking about death' which isn't supposed to be funny and warrants a civility warning.
(Even though I found it funny)
