Things have improved dramatically over the past week or so. Sammy has become much more tolerant of Byron, and they even hang out together sometimes. Just a minute ago they were lying on top of the couch, face to face, half asleep. So cute! Sometimes Sammy does freak out again and chase Byron or try to fight with him, but most of the time things are fine. Sammy even licks on Byron sometimes. So I'm feeling much better about the situation, which I think will improve even more with time.
Byron just got over a tapeworm problem, which isn't pretty if you've ever seen it. I got a pill from the vet, and he seems to be fine now. Sammy's health is fine too. I've been feeding them California Naturals cat food, with a little wheat germ oil sprinkled on top. Their coats are getting shinier and softer, and their eyes look brighter. Oh, and Byron is out of his shell now too. He walks through the house freely and never hides anymore.

That's great. My cat Jules will be getting in touch with Byron and Sammy. He's heard their story and would like to go out for drinks. : )

I'm sure they'd love to go out for drinks with Jules! Their favorite drink is a Tuna Juice Screwdriver.

Jules has dual dependencies: Catnip and tequila over Iams.
He also likes biker bars and cat houses.
