Last weekend the kids and friends and I all went for an alpine meadow hike. The flowers are all beginning to bloom. It's so beautiful. I live in a beautiful part of the world. Yesterday morning it was sunny, warm, and humid, also a light mist high above ... it reminded me of the Great Lakes area where I spent some of my childhood years... it was so beautiful. I'm trying to be open to the beauty of the world, and not let it hurt me anymore, like music .. a few notes have the ability to send me straight to hell.

being in hell..
yes,so hard to crawl out of..
open up for the beauty..but you have to swing it all the open..let in the good..all the good..
pain will blow in ...if the door were to close..we get nothing..

I heard it as "it's your choice. You either choose to let in life with the good and the bad, or you choose to close yourself against life with its good and bad. It may seem like an unfair choice, but it's what you have to choose from"

And it's beautiful isn't it? My hope is that by keeping the door open, or trying to get my foot stuck in there before it slams shut, so it WILL stay open, I can change some of the possible bad, to good. Babble is my foot in the door.
