No great stories.
He just can remember every funny line from every funny tv show or movie or weird al song (and every funny line from not so funny movies and tv shows too) and produce them properly in context.
He's great at grammar jokes too. It's delightful to find someone who can see the humor in grammar.
He's teaching my son too. So one day he too can charm the girls with misplaced modifier jokes.

He can *always* make me laugh, no matter how down I am. Coincidentally he makes good grammar jokes too, like this:
I just re-read that cat-in-a-trashcan paragraph and EGADS my grammar is horrible. It's not like I'm going to go all corrrecting it or anything, I just thought I'd mention it.
I will understand if you choose to smite me with the GRAMMAR HAMMER!
He's also unforgiveably handsome, brilliant, a martial artist, he writes piano music, is a nanny (and loves it) and......... lives with his girlfriend. *sigh*

I'm glad you have someone like that JYL. You deserve to have lots of laughs.
> other times i try to be funny...but end up breathless because i just cant get it out..I do that, I feel so ridiculous I have laughing fits that must look more like a seizure.
It's only okay around my little sister cause she gets them too.

seizure, snorting, cackling, silently with tears rolling down my face because I'm out of breath; I'm guilty of them all at times!!
I think it would be unfair of me to answer the question right now, because I can't think of anyone right now- yet I KNOW I am guilty of the above- so at least SOMEONE has made me laugh...
hmmm, I gotta get outta this funk- I'm apparently shortchanging people in my mind (either that or those people are not in my life anymore, which may account for the funk I'm in....)
This is the end of the thread.
