window at you in this picture!
When are you going on her show and taking all of us with you????
She could put your latest book under all the seats in the audience....along with new laptops so that we could all communicate much more effectively everywhere we go.... and airline tickets to an all-inclusive resort so we could all relax and heal. ;~}

Oooo, don't mean to be so violent (but at least you started it!) and opinionated (me?!) but I'd pay A LOT of $$ for the chance to do that whacking!! Good idea, pc!

I think it was the visual that got me going. I'm not usually one for whacking, either...
Oh, and Oprah? I'd prefer a PowerBook, ok? More robust.

Count me in! And if we're gonna be bashing Dr Phil there's a couple of very ancient, very heavy old laptops here I could bring as their side of the head smackability impact factor would be nice and high.

Well I was no fan of Dr. Phil ever (I detest aphorisms) But I especially dislike him now that I've learned he refuses to have anyone who has any type of psychiatric diagnosis in his audience. He makes potential audience members sign legal documents stating as much.

I want a laptop! And just because you don't have a psychiatric diagnosis doesn't mean you don't have problems. A lot of people who are really strange don't know they are so they don't see a pdoc or therapist. So what is Dr. Phil trying to prove? Fondly, Phillipa

Exactly! If Dr. Phil was as wise as he thinks he'd realize that. People who see psychiatrists are generally going voluntarily to get a grip on their problems. The worst behaviour often comes from people who think everyone else has the problem

>I'm sorry, but I don't think that's a good idea. I have no idea why you would want to bash Dr Phil. After all, he must be a genius, since he can solve such difficult problems in under an hour! (Or is it a half hour? I've never managed to get through more than about three minutes of anything he's been on...)
Thanks for the visual. I'm very frightened by the mental image I have, of Babblers as far as the eye can see, swinging innocent laptops at a middle aged balding man...
When will we be scheduling this?

When's he on next? He certainly sees life simplistically. Just do what he says and you'll be fine. Fondly, Phillipa
