I was just wondering...are girls supposed to wear bras while in bed sleeping? Cuz I don't. I don't even want to wear a bra during the day, much less the night!
I don't like wearing PJs because they are too thick and too warm for the summer. I wear those very long T-shirt thingies that go down to my knee.

>I remember seeing "sleep bras" advertised many years ago. I think it's a little strange.

>I wear a large T-shirt and underpants. When I'm cold I put on PJs. My husband wants me to wear something sexier.
This is odd, but I like to have my shoulders covered. The odd thing is that my mother said the same thing--she wore short-sleeved nightgowns, never sleeveless. I don't remember her ever wearing long sleeves.
I think you get to wear (or not wear) whatever you want. There are certain disadvantages to sleeping in the nude, however--when I was 16 there was an earthquake and I ran into the driveway naked.I.

I don't like wearing anything to bed. I like to feel the cool soft sheets against my skin and my husband's skin against mine, but I do keep a robe at the foot of the bed in case of an earthquake.

I really love comfortable pants, but I have realllllly long legs and can never find a pair that don't brush my ankles. So when I find a pair I wear the crap out of them. That and a tank top, and I am in sleeping heaven!

Ilene,
Yep, I'm in California, too. The earthquakes I've experienced haven't been too bad, and I'm not all that afraid of them, but if "the big one" does come, I want to be clothed when I run outside.

I think only heavily endowed ladies need wear a bra to bed.. I certainly never have! *L*
I wear light pyjamas in the summer.. a vest and long trousers.. and heavier long sleeved pyjamas in the winter.. I have a complete paranoia of something happening in the night, and me standing on the street naked *LOL*
Even in Thailand at over 100degrees and no air conditioning, I still slept in light shorts and vest.. I simply *cannot* sleep naked!! And I can't sleep uncovered either! One thing I learnt in Thailand is that silk is lovely and cooling, so I bought a gorgeous thai silk throw and slept under than out there, and on those really hot nights over here!Nikki xx

Back before I breastfed my son, when my breasts were ample but relatively perky, sleeping was much more comfy with a sleep bra.
Now they lay quietly never giving me the slightest trouble and I'd rather not wear a bra anytime.
My old ob/gyn had a real dislike of bras. I heard her nurses say that she believed the rates of breast cancer would be lower if women didn't wear bras. It always made me wonder if my intense faith in her was misplaced.

I can't sleep unless my legs and hips are lightly covered, so I always wear long pj's. There is nothing I hate worse than a nightgown bunched around my legs or waist, so I never ever wear those. And whatever it is has to be whisper soft.
A lot of times I just fall into bed wearing the previous days clothes. (Blush)

No bra, no panties, I like to let things breathe! Usually just PJ bottoms and a T-shirt.

I could *never* sleep without panties. Maybe because I grew up sleeping with a bedful of dogs, and still have two maltese on my bed at night. Sleeping with dogs is great, but being tickled by dog fur on bare skin less so.

It always made me wonder if my intense faith in her was misplaced.I've heard this too: I've read that rates of breast cancer are highest in women who wear bras all the time, including to bed, and lowest in women who never wear bras.
I've got a bra top thingy that I wear in bed - it's a couple of sizes too big so not at all tight - because if I don't wear something I roll over and squish myself (ouch!). And I wear pj trousers with it.
But really I'd prefer to wear nothing...

That's why I wear pajama bottoms so my delicate parts aren't open for the world to see!

Cute matching pj sets, often w/ kitties or puppies on them, often from "Old Navy." Sadly only the cats and I get to see them. I need a man...
