This is getting serious. Ed quit school for a year so no exams. I'd suggest anyone reading this that has his E-mail to try and contact him or phone number. Those who live near him have tried to phone too and no response. No one has heard from Ed. Fondly, Phillipa

Had an SOS out on Ed and I just received a reply that he's okay. There was a storm and all phone lines were or are down. But he's okay and I'm so relieved. Just wanted to let everyone else know. And I wonder if that is why the Board is so empty. Has anyone heard about this storm and what areas it affected? All I know is I'm so relieved. Fondly, Phillipa

I don't know much about the storm up north, I must of missed it on the news ~ the weather down south has been pretty good the past few days..Which makes a change lol
Just wanted to mention that I have never seen the board so empty without all the ed_uk posts!

Its VERY empty without the expert opinion of Ed! I haven't heard anything about a storm up north, I hope my friends are all alright in Yorkshire!! Well its boiling here in the South West.......too hot in fact I can't cope!

Ed we know you're okay. Someone talked with you on the telephone. A lot of us have E-mailed you. Please let someone know if you plan on coming back to Babble you know by the messages in your mail how much we love and miss you. I for one will go on a med strike if you don't at least write back to any one who will let us know if you will be back or are just taking a break love PJ OOOOOOXXXXXX
