I am so excited.
My mommy (yeah, even at 27 years old, she's my mommy) is flying here on Thursday to spend 11 days with us.
She wants to come to our church, see the kids', and since my dad is making her crazy, she needs a break.
I'm thrilled. I love having my mom with me.
She wasn't the nicest, kindest, sweetest mother growing up (translates into an abusive witch) however, since I moved far away from her, she is much nicer to me and seems to actually enjoy me.
It's bizarre. Sometimes 2,000 miles is a good thing and makes a relationship more healthy.
Anyway, being a grandmother to my kids' has brought out the best in her. She loves my boys' like nobody's business so that warms my heart.
I'm just excited. I haven't seen her since July- and my dad was there then and he requires much more energy/time than she does.
With my mom, I can just "be." So after Thursday, if you don't see me around much... that would be why.
Don't cry. I'll be back. ROFL
