I usually give out cans of soda. And of course, I usually manage to shake a few of them up REALLY hard.
After all, they do say trick OR treat. I happen to include a few tricks in my treats... ;~}

I'm not really into passing out candy. It's not my thing. lol. I sound like my aunt but I'll talk about that some other time.
I'm afraid that I will be out driving on halloween and hit one of the little trick or treaters. :-O

I'm too far off the road. You can't even see my house so I wont get to scare them this year. I usually decorate and make my own haunted woods. I'll have a pic taken of my costume(homemade of course) and post it. ; )

I like handing out candy to the trick or treaters on Beg-o-ween. No Bah Hum Boo for me.
I stop as it gets later and the "kids" voices have already changed and their chests are bigger than mine - they can afford to buy their own candy.

Think I'll just turn off the lights this year. We're moving and don't need anything else in this house. Sounds mean I know but the neighborhood it multiplying like rats. Fondly, Phillipa

We always give out TONS of candy. I always get one "special" candy or two to give to the kids who have the most awesome costumes -- things like a WHOLE candy bar, or a small toy Matchbox car, or something like that. It's kind of fun and it's an easy way to make a small kid really smile. :)
Last year we ran out of candy and ran out to the store to get more b/c it was still so early! So this year we'll prepare more.
I think the soda cans is a GREAT idea - it's different and cool and useful! Hmmmm....

The whole county descends on our street... we get about 400 trick-or-treaters (I've counted!)
