My 6 year old had it for 5 days; fevers, aches, cough, sore throat, no sleep (which means no sleep for his mommy either!).
Then Wednesday night- I meant just out of the blue, it HIT Me. I felt achy- every bone/muscle/fiber of my being HURT. I was running a temp- throat was very sore. If I was a horse, someone would've easily shot me in good consience.
Anyway- I drank two cup fulls of that "Airborn" stuff (thinking I was being stupid) and SURE enough, by yesterday afternoon, I was all better.
Now since yesterday- my husband is aching, fever, ears hurting, etc.. He took one sip of the airborn and refused to finish it! UGH.
So anyway, here I am taking care of a 275 pound grown man.
Pray for me.. ROFL

Good Luck Spriggy!!!
That "Airborne" stuff really does work if you take it on the first sign that you are catching the cold or flu bug!!! It saved me 2 weeks ago!
Hope your family feels better soon!

I had to stay home from work Wednesday because of fever, everything ached. My skin even hurt. Runny nose and the works. It passed after one day. I pray that my kids dont get it.
I hope that your family feels better soon.(((Spriggy))

"Airborne" can be purchased at any local Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid or pharmacy. It is an effervescent tablet that you dissolve in water and drink every 3 hours after the first sign that you are getting a cold or flu. It has a citrus flavor (kind of like watered down orange juice with a bit of carbonation!!!) It doesn't taste too bad....but you have to take it when you start to feel the first sign of a cold or flu!!!!!!!! I AM A BELIEVER!!!

There may be some echinasia (sp?) in the Airborne....not sure. There are several different ingredients in it. I would have to read the package, and I don't have any right now. Sorry!
