but at least i know i'm actually going to be doing it.
i would really have been very very very upset if i hadn't gotten in anywhere

Woohoo!. That's the one place above all others that I want to visit! I actually considered applying for Survivor Australia because of my obsession with it. I'm so jealous!!! What a facinating place! And the accent is so cool!!!!

P.S. Can I come visit?

texaschick... you can visit me if i can visit you, okay?
i'd love to get to the us oneday...
and one of my friends from work really misses texas (she was over there for three years and LOVED it). Loved the live music especially. and hassling her officemate about whether he was REALLY carrying a concealed weapon...
;-)
survivor???
you are joking - right????

> you are joking - right????Only halfway joking. I love Survivor. Australia was the second one, & I think everyone thought about being on it after seeing the 1st one. It was the first reality show so it was all new and exciting then, not to mention alot more innocent. This was way before Fear Factor and the rest.

Oh, and you can come visit any time! But you probably wouldn't want to come in the summer. Or the winter for that matter. Spring and Fall last about a week each, but you never know when they're going to be. So I guess it doesn't matter when you come after all. :-)
That's funny about the concealed weapon. I never think about that. I guess when you live here its not that big of a deal. Not that I know anyone who carries a concealed handgun. Personally I'm scared of guns. I'm way to clumsy to be around anything that dangerous. I also don't know how to ride a horse, and haven't seen cattle in years - those things are out in the country. I also don't like country music. Somebody from out of state asked me recently if we eat alot of steak here. I was like, huh? I don't really know what that means.
