I just ate a persimmon, the short hard ones, not the big slimy ones. I like both though. Anyone like persimmons?
Can someone describe to me what eating raw oysters is like?
I've never had one before.

Ha, ha! Just kidding. I would never eat something so discusting looking. I've had people tell me, "You have to at least try it before you decide you don't like it."
I say, "I don't have to do anything I don't want to. And if it looks gross, I will happily miss out."

Raw oysters are awesome. You wanna get them at a high quality restuarant just in case. You take them out of the half shell, a little lemon juice, a touch of horseradish. Then slurp the whole thing into your mouth. You can use the little fork to help. There's a touch of the sea taste, It is mushy and slimy but in a good way. Sometimes a little grit inside. I chew them up. If i'm paying that much I want the full experience. The raw protein gives you a high afterward, like good sushi. I bet Linkadge or someone could explain why.
go for it,

I've never had a raw oyster, but I'd probably try one. I love sushi, at least the tamer varieties (keep any and all fish eggs away from me!).

The persimmon and oyster diet. Why didn't I think of that?

I usually don't eat raw sushi, but I think I will if I go to a good restaurant with a good reputation.
