How could such a cute little hamster be used as snake food? :-(

My fiance had a lizard once that he fed rats to. Well, the lizard decided that he wasn't going to eat one of the rats and they lived together in harmony until my fiance decided it wasn't psychologically healthy for his lizard to make friends with his food and removed the rat. It was subsequently named Templeton and lived for quite awhile.
