Duh -- no wonder that book seemed familiar

Posted by Racer on January 30, 2006, at 13:41:12

I can't believe I did this: I just finished reading a book, which I thought seemed a bit familiar while I was reading it, and I checked. Yep. 'Nother copy of it on the shelf, I've already read it.

Oh, well, now I have a hard back as well as the paperback.

If anyone cares, it was "Shadow Puppets," by Orson Scott Card.

Used to happen to me all the time. That's why I started the Q&A flat file database back when I got my first computer.
