I was feeling too yuck to go to church. I took a two hour nap and I am ready to go back to bed.
Why am I so tired? I am tired of being tired. I need to find a "real" therapist. I went to a Psychologist once. It was a huge disaster!!!!
Have you ever been tired of being tired?
Best intentions,
Lynn

I stopped in the middle of my housework on Saturday to rest my feet and woke up 3 hours later. 2 hours after that I was back in bed.
Yes, I am very tired of always being so tired.Sabrina

It's ok to have some lazy days once in a while, but if it goes on something might be wrong.
Do you find yourself avoiding life? I sleep a lot when I want to avoid life.

I do not want to avoid life. I want to get through life without being tired.
I could just cry. Maybe it is allergies. The thyroid is fine. I have been tired all of my life.

My biggest problem is on weekends. I sleep until about 7am, I get up, eat breakfast and read a little bit, and go back to bed around 9am. I wake up at 11 or 12, and lay around somemore. After sitting on the couch for the next several hours, I go to bed at 9PM. This is my Saturday and Sunday. I KNOW I'm avoiding things. I also know that if I got some exercise I would have more energy. I've tested the theory and it really works. Laying around just makes me more tired. The problem is its a visious cycle, I'm too tired to exercise so I lay around, I lay around because I'm so tired.
This is just my situation, I don't know if it'll help you any.
You should definitely consider seeing a therapist. I know that's what I need to do, go back to seeing one. Its different from going to a psychologist (at least in my experience.) I can't recommend it enough.
I only stopped because I lost my job. Insurance didn't pay for the last few appointments, so I owe her money. But my psychologist gave me the name of some T's right by my house that will work on a sliding scale basis. Its just a matter of me not procrastinating anymore and making the appointment. There's something about when I walk into my place I suddenly don't want to do anything, and I forget things I'm supposed to do. Its like I enter the 'I refuse to do anything or think of anything stressful world'.

I don't think it's jet lag. I can't sleep well at night, yet this morning I got up, read the paper, then went back and slept for another 3 hours. I had a celebrity dream, whoo hoo! I get those sometimes. Like standing in the checkout line at KMart with Tom Petty, LOL. This time it was Rod Stewart and he was having a party.
Now I have a headache of course.
This sleeping thing preoccupies me at the moment. I get all cranked up and energetic, relatively speaking, as I near nighttime and bed. Then when I do finally get to sleep it's very light and I can only sleep at an hour at a time. Then during the day I crave sleeping all the time. It's making me feel anxious, which makes it worse. (I take Ambien but I'm now tolerant of it after a year.)
