I've had it since wednesday and it just doesn't seem to be getting any better.
In fact, today I developed a nasty cough in addition to the dripping nose, throbbing head and horrible sore throat.
Ok, I'm just whining. I'll get over it someday.

I don't know what part of the country you're in but the North East is rampant with the flu. Did you get a flu shot? Get some Theriflu. And rest , drink pleanty of fluids. Love Phillipa

Sore throat, stuffy sinuses, coughing, fever (low grade for the last 5 days), and just down right feel aweful. It really sucks! I'm more than ready for it to end. I've already missed a week of work because of it. Argh! All of this because someone decided to come to work with a cough and pass it on to me.
I'm joining you in whining. :-(

Colds and flus are miserable. Not only do they lay you flat but they're also great at encouraging humility. :(
Hope you're both feeling better soon.

I hope you feel better! :) Can you make yourself some tea or chicken soup? (for me, chicken soup -- hot and steamy and homemade -- is the BEST!)
I am sending you virtual chicken soup vapors, made from organic free-range hens and fresh vegetables from Provence. (I'm not sure why I picked Provence, except that France has a reputation for good food, and Provence sounds cool!)

I hope you're feeling better soon!

I think I had the same exact cold, and it does get better. I promise!
Mine took about 10 days-2 wks start to finish. However, I also went to a very cold area of the country for part of the time I had the cold, which probably made it last longer.
I promise it goes away!
